Motocross Hawkstone International

The Hawkstone International 2023 will be held on February 26; it has been revealed by Salop Motor Club, with Ashbrook securing the title partnership once again.

The Salop Motor Club is looking forward to Hawkstone in 2023 and is again set to draw in a massive crowd as they flock to watch some of the best riders in the world.

There are a few changes to the schedule. In 2023, the organisers will mix 20 of the best MX1 riders with 20 of the best MX2 riders, each championship will be scored individually, and points and prizes will be awarded per class.

The Super Final will also be mixed with the MX2 riders having a three- to four-second advantage like in previous years, with the results decided as they cross the line. The support classes will be an adult mixed class and an EMX125 class.

It is hoped several GP stars will attend the event, with names being announced over the coming months. Entries will open soon for the MX1 and MX2 (invitation only) classes, and for 2023, we have the Adult Support race and the EMX125 class again contact Gary Ford on ford542@btinternet.com

The Hawkstone International 2023 will give the fans an opportunity to see some of the worlds best riders and is a prime opportunity to see new teams, new riders and some of the best racers in the world battle against each other at one of the most famous MX circuits. The enormous turnout of spectators and all the top teams preparing for their long season make the now traditional season opener in the UK a must on anyones calendar.

Once again, we are really looking forward to the event in 2023; we are hoping to draw some world-class riders to Hawkstone and have a good pre-season race meeting before the GPs kick-off, said event secretary Gary Ford.

We are really pleased that Ashbrook has committed to the 2023 Hawkstone International as title sponsor and it will be great to work with them again.

Last year, Britain's Conrad Mewse took the MX2 overall, while the premier class was won by Brian Bogers on the Standing Construct Husqvarna.
