Billy Green continued his terrific vein of form with a dominant display in the latest rounds of the ACU Oset British Youth B Championship in the Isle of Man last weekend.
A podium finisher in the recent British Trial GP, the young Beta rider from Dartmoor looked equally at home on the volcanic rockery of the island's scenic southern coastline at Scarlett.
In perfect conditions throughout, he rode Saturday's 36 hazards for six single dabs and a two to beat Oliver Smith by a clear 29.
Daniel Slack was a slightly distant third on the MRS Sherco although he and Smith finished on the same tally of five fives.
Green incurred a single five on Sunday in his final tally of 14, ten clear of Smith who really looked impressive at times. Gus Oblein rode well for third on the SPJ Sherco.
Jack Dance was equally dominant in Class C on his Beta 80. The Surrey lad stole the show on Saturday with a totally clean ride, while on Sunday he went round for a solitary dab. Harry Bowyer was runner-up on day one with a loss of 13, eight fewer than Jamie Galloway of Scotland, with Manx rider Owen Chestnut going well to grab fourth on 28.
On Sunday, Galloway was runner-up in front of Ollie Smith and Chestnut in another Beta 1-2-3, with Bowyer slipping down the order to seventh.
The two Harrys were to the fore once again in the medium wheel class with Harry Turner this time having the better results of the pair.
He beat fellow Yeadon & Guiseley star Harry Hemingway by a margin of four on Saturday after incurring a single five but no other losses.
Turner made no errors whatsoever on Sunday, staying feet-up for another three laps of 12 different sections to finish 17 clear of his Yorkshire rival. Dominic Horne was third of the points' scorers in each instance.
Completing the Beta domination, Myles Hutchinson took the Class D Medium-Wheel honours on both days, beating Charlie Crossland and Alfie-Ray Turner by reasonably comfortable margins in each instance.
The Oset electric bike-dominated Small-Wheel class saw the largest field of competitors, with another double victory for series leader George Hemingway over clubmates Toby Shaw and Jasper Fox.
