Oakleaf Kawasaki has announced the re-signing of top UK youth rider, Tommy Alba, who now returns to the team after a successful 2011 season.

At the tail end of last year Tommy announced that he would be leaving Oakleaf Kawasaki to join Team Suzuki GB Youth for 2012, but after parting ways earlier this week offers began to flood in for the impressive 15-year old star.

After weighing up the offers on the table Tommy decided to return to the Oakleaf set-up and continue on from his highly successful debut season in motocross after changing disciplines from enduro racing.

This now gives Oakleaf Kawasaki two of the hottest properties in UK youth racing with Tommy now joining new signing, Jake Millward, for a double headed assault on the Red Bull Pro Nationals Rookie Class, added to the signing of Top Pro Motocross star Alex Snow to contest the Pro MX1 classes at the Red Bull Pro Nationals, the Maxxis British Championship and with James Dodd continuing on the team to contest the MX2 classes, the team continues to go from strength to strength as it looks to confirm its status amongst the big boys in the UK motocross paddock.

Alex and Jake are currently well into their pre-season training after heading down to Spain last week to put in three solid weeks of riding and testing as they prepare for the season opener at the end of February.

James has unfortunatley aggrivated his shoulder injury from last season and is now awaiting test results to determine what the next step is, but it looks like he may be forced to sit out the start of the season and Tommy is now desperate to get aboard his new 2012 Kawasaki 250KXF to catch up on the testing and riding which he has missed out on in recent weeks.
