The ACU last week announced the riders selected to represent Great Britain at the International Six Days Enduro in Germany in September.
The Trophy team will comprise Tom Sagar, David Knight, Jordan Rose, Lee Edmondson, Jason Thomas and Paul Edmondson, while the Junior (Vase) quartet has bwwn names as Danny McCanney, Alex Rockwell, Jack Rowland and Steve Holcombe.
Travelling reserve will be Jamie McCanney
ACU GB ISDE Team Manager, Dusty Martin: "We have two very strong teams this year – a reflection on the depth of talent among all the riders who applied for team places.
"The Trophy team is world class, with David Knight three-time world champion, Paul Edmondson four-time world champion (looking to secure his 19th ISDE gold medal), Jason Thomas back from his strongest season yet in American GNCC (currently second in the XC2 Lites class), Jordan Rose who placed an excellent fifth in the EWC in Spain earlier this year, Tom Sagar a former British champion and EWC podium finisher and Lee Edmondson who's currently second only to Sagar in the very competitive E2 class in the BEC.
"Each of our riders have an enviable record of talent and experience.
"Our Junior team will be looking to replicate the podium success they enjoyed last year, the only change to the team being Steve Holcombe who's replacing Jonny Walker.
Steve has been faultless this year winning so many races in the Expert class in British enduro and fully deserves his place. Our traveling reserve is the very talented Jamie McCanney who, if called upon, will be able to mix it with the best, as he's already shown this year.
"With the quality in the riders and the support we have for the team, from industry and individuals, we can look forward to a very competitive year at the Six Days. We're looking forward to it.”
