British youngsters (right) Laurence Stopps and Luke Davies flew the flag at the tough six hour European Quad Trophy at Bastogne in Belgium on Sunday and ran out winners of the U21 category.

Mounted on Rocketman Suzukis, the pair also ended up seventh overall out of 48 teams in the event, which was run in torrential rain and ankle deep mud at the famous GP venue.

It was a superb achievement after the pair had qualified down in 22nd in a quality field full of several leading European riders.

They were the only Brits entered.

The race, now in its 11th year, was won by Belgium's Arnaud Thiry and Guy Meertens.
