Chelsea hoping to 'land SX title

CARRYING the flag for the girls at this weekend's Liverpool Supercross event will be 13-year-old Chelsea Gowland, (pictured), from Rochdale, in Lancashire. Chelsea has been racing successfully since the age of five, and has already managed to claim two girls national titles at 65cc, and a runners-up place finish in last years' Small-wheel 85cc class at the Foxholes event.
This season will also be Chelsea's fourth year of BYMX action as she goes bar to bar with the guys once more.
It's a tough season, she says, but great preparation for this years' Girls Nationals where she has real hopes of securing national title number three. Chelsea is also on the lookout for a new sponsor.
