Cooking up Desertmartin support

THIS is the eighth consecutive year for the Cookstown club to stage an adult British championship motocross round at its Desertmartin track, which is regarded as one of the best in the series.
Sunday's fifth round is expected to take upwards of 50,000 to promote and in that respect the organisers are delighted to have secured backing from various sources including, for the first time, support from Northern Ireland Trucks.
In addition to the truck company the other backers include Stena Line, Motorcycle Racing Association, Magherafelt District Council, Liam Featherston Construction, HA Pallets, Norman Watt Motorcycles, FG Wilson Engineering, EH Allingham Construction Ltd and Tobermore Concrete Products Ltd.
