Dirt 3-2-1 Whoop Monsters Wanted
By TMX Archives on 22nd Jul 10
If you've been searching the world wide web you may have seen some online footage of the AMA National at Millville from the weekend and been blown away by the awesome sand whoop section that's split in the middle by a 180-degree corner.
Well, if you saw that and thought how cool it would be to blitz through them full gas you need to sort yourself an entry for the DirtBikeBitz.com -sponsored motocross at Dirt 3-2-1 – which is proudly sponsored by Pidcock Motorcycles Ltd – on August 1 because a mirror image of that very same section of circuit is being replicated in a whole new piece of the extended FatCat race track.
Pretty much the entire track has been rebuilt in preparation for Dirt 3-2-1 with new jumps and rhythm sections added as well as the sandy/soil surface getting dug up deep and rotovated so it's now much grippier than ever before. The White Rose club gave the track (minus the new whoop section) a full-on race shakedown at the weekend with all the feedback from the riders being very positive – and that's before the new section has been added! So it's safe to say the track's going to be absolutely perfect when Dirt 3-2-1 rolls into town on the weekend of July 31/August 1.
Entries are still available in all adult classes – Pro, Clubman and Novice – for the DirtbikeBitz.com motocross which will run all day on Sunday as well as Saturday night's supercross. With good prize money up for grabs in the pro class and trophies available in the Clubman and Novice divisions there's plenty to play for.
