The engineers over at Beta sure know how to make a sweet-looking bike and they havent let anyone down again with this latest offering, the 2014 Factory Beta RR 350 4T, ticking all the right boxes.

The engine design is completely new from the main engine case right up to the cylinder-head while the overall weight of the engine has been reduced by a substantial 1.5kg (that's 3.3lbs in old terms).

The redesigned, crankshaft and piston help to improve agility and horsepower.

And, as with all factory bikes, the extra trick bits you get for your £7,195 are well worth a mention.

The chassis has been refined to match that of the official Beta Factory team which this year includes French ace Johnny Aubert among its ranks.

The Marzocchi Factory forks look great and they are finished off in a cool red colour to match the bike.

A PFP system for quick adjustment (a technology developed from Formula 1 cars) has been added to allow the
rider to adjust the fork to different conditions without having to make internal valve changes.

A Sachs shock, has been tuned to perfectly match the fork, giving the rider a more stable feel through rough terrain.

The FMF exhaust with Q4 silencer and Power Bomb pipe – like the ones used by the factory team – increases the mid-range punch, enabling the rider to accelerate more quickly through the gears.

As you would expect the bike also features a number of aluminium items including the footrests, chain adjuster, oil fill plugs and engine cases to further enhance the factory look.

Lastly – and most importantly to some people – the bike just looks awesome.

The TMX test team cannot wait to get their hands on one to put it through its paces.

So as soon as we have given this sweet bit of machinery a good thrashing you will be the first to read all about it!
