NOW in its third year the AMCA organised Skegness Beach race on November 16 will see a longer, revamped track heading further down the beach with multiple loops and an extended race time for the quads to two and a half hours.

Spectating is free all along the promenade and on the pier (which the track goes under), and the race always gets good crowds.

The Doodson Broking Group is sponsoring the Quad/Sidecar race. Winner of the quad race gets £100 plus a trophy and free entry for 2014. Second gets £75 plus a trophy and third £50 plus a trophy.

Entry is £100 up until November 11, then after that entry goes up to £120 and entries are said to be filling fast.

The easiest place to enter is online at www.amca.uk.com/beach-race

Entry fees include hard standing car parks and free camping for one vehicle, all within seconds of the beach and the fantastic Skeggy nightlife!
