PAUL Edmondson of Fasteddyracing.com this week announced that Tom Sagar has confirmed that he will race for the team for the remainder of 2009 and through the whole of the 2010 season.
Sagar will be campaigning the all-new Suzuki RMX 450Z, but will be on a RMZ290 at this year's ISDE in Portugal.
Tom, who originally hails from Oswestry but now lives in Newtown, has also confirmed that he will be supported in the World Indoor Enduro Championship as well as the WEC for 2010.
The agreement is with fasteddyracing.com who at the current time is trying to finalise terms with Suzuki GB.
The plan will be to run a three-man team in the UK contesting the BEC and various enduro and cross-country events, but the whole focus on the World scene will be aimed at helping Tom achieve the best results possible.
Paul Edmondson said: ‘‘Tom is one of the rising stars on the Enduro and X-Country scene. He is a good lad and I know that, with my help and support and his family behind him, he can be a world star. It's all about getting the best out of riders and helping them through the tough times and I know we can do this for Tom.''
Both Sagar and Edmondson have already signed up to contest the World Indoor Enduro Cup series together, but Edmondson will stand down from participating in the World Championship series to concentrate his efforts in guiding and mentoring Sagar to the top of the tree on the international scene.
Suzuki GB is totally behind whatever the FastEddy team will be doing through 2009 and 2010.
The third rider and a title sponsor are due to be announced shortly.
