Good Show for BSMA
By TMX Archives on 11th Nov 11

The BSMA reported that it had its best show ever. The Association has virtually filled the entry for the GT Cup series in 2012.Following the show there are now only a few places left in each of the the Youth 125cc two-stroke and the Auto classes.
The presentation of awards for the 2011 GT Cup series took place on the stage on Saturday afternoon and the Committee was delighted to welcome Davide Guarneri – 16th in the World MX1 Championship in 2011 – who presented the prizes. The riders and audience were amazed at the array of prizes that were on offer, from training holidays in Tenerife, games consoles, televisions, BMX bikes and tyre deals for 2012 donated by various sponsors.
The highlight of the awards ceremony was the presentation of a supported Junior 65cc ride by Husqvarna UK next season. This went to James Hyett – winner of the Auto class this year.
The BSMA Committee would like to thank Claudio Bernardinelli of Golden Tyre for supporting the BSMA and helping to put together the fantastic package that has made the BSMA what it is today.
They would would also like to thank Husqvarna UK, Revo Technik, MX Tenerife, FRUK and all the other sponsors that made the 2011 series so special.
Next season, 2012, is another year, with new venues and new prizes but the same dedicated team will be pulling it all together for another great year.
The calendar for 2012 is currently taking shape, with just a few decisions to be made regarding which tracks to include in the series. The dates are listed below with the confirmed venues.
