THE National Bemrose Trial hits the headlines this coming Sunday, March 14, with a mighty 133 entries converging at the traditional starting venue, Haslin Farm, a mile east of High Edge Raceway, south of Buxton.

North Derbyshire Youth MCC now run the very old established March National trial and Alan Nixon and his team have not altered the basic format. If it ain't broke don't mend it is the watchword for the Dave Rowland, the Northern Experts and the Bemrose Trial which all run in the picturesque area!

The big guns this year? Well, you won't find 2009 winner Matt Jones but definitely entered are Dan Thorpe, Sam Haslam, Ross Danby, Richard Timperley, Dan Farrer, Craig Robinson, Chris Pearson, Sam Clarke and Phil Disney, while the girls are well represented by Becky Cook, Emma Bristow and Katy Sunter. James Fry makes the trip from the south coast along with Ben Morphett while Yorkshire's Tony Scarlett and Paul Rose are both National winners in days gone by and are true blasts from the past. Another old' guy in the mix is someone called Shirty Jr who has a lot to do with Gas Gas at Buxton.

Picture shows last year's Clubman winner Paul Bennett who will be the man to beat again this time round.
