DUTCH club MSV NOV hosted its annual Sint Nicolaas Cross meeting on Sunday, December 2, at its deep sand track in Heerde, Holland.
The weekends racing included quads, Youth solo riders, MX1 and MX2 classes, and also an international ‘Dames klasse' for female racers.
Among other british girls to make the journey was fourteen-year-old 85cc rider Amber Saunders from Crawley in Sussex, a member of the East Kent club.
Amber was the only 85cc rider to represent the brits and came away with a third place podium finish.
The 85's had to share the start line with the 125cc and 250cc machines though the groups were scored separatley. The track, which winds through the woods, was in super condition though extremely challenging after the Quad and 450cc motos.
The Dutch certainly showed how riding in the sand is done with their girls taking the top three spots in the 125/250 group and the top two places in the 85's but ambers third was a fine achievment.
