ITS back up north again to the picturesque county of Cumbria for the sixth and penultimate round of the popular British Youth Motocross Championship, this time being held at the ever popular Low Gelt track, at Brampton, over the Bank Holiday weekend August 29/30. With the previous two rounds being marked as the best the series as seen in a long while, the East Cumbria Motocross Club will want to continue the string with lots to do on track as well as off the track for all the families and supporters. With the Championship coming to a close at Foxhill Moto Park on September 12/13, all the Championship class leaders will be hoping nothing goes wrong at Brampton.
In the Cobra 65cc class, Conrad Mewse with 19 wins to his name will be favourite again at Brampton, but Henry Williams who is in second place is just 115 points behind him, with Sid Evans also in there just a further 78 points adrift. Mewse will have to be at his best and could possibly be crowned Champion if the other two have any mishaps.
