Jonny cashes in at Harwood Dale

LAKELANDER Jonny Walker never faltered in the oppressive heat that hit Low North Park last weekend and stuck his MRS Sherco at the top of Youth A with two days of unwavering confidence at Scarborough & DMC's BH Refrigeration Two-day Youth Trial.
The Keswick youngster set the standard with a cracking ride of 4-0-0for his three laps on Saturday when all 12 sections were on theslippery side.
When the thermometer climbed on Sunday, especially up on the westside of the venue where the trees are sparse, a tally of 9-2-2 was aclass leading score.
Predictably, Richmond's hot Youth B star, Richard Sadler, posted alow score to walk away with his class. Richard dropped seven, and thatwas probably way too many for the West Witton lad.
Top candidate for a Brit championship next Sunday, Joanne Colesquietly climbed to second place after being shaded by Jack Howell onSaturday.
In Youth C, Stones was rock on as young Jack took out national titlerival Luke Walker, who, in turn, had Rob Waite on his case throughoutboth days. Stones led with the best scores on both days.
