FOLLOWING two years that have been blighted by injury and bad luck Josh Spinks will be hoping for improved fortune in 2010.

Although Josh is still young enough at 17 to compete in the BYMX Youth Championships he has decided to throw his cap fully into the Maxxis MX2 ring and concentrate all of his efforts there for the coming season.

Following the broken neck he sustained early last year Josh made a return to racing action in September but didnt feel 100 per cent so the last few months have been spent mainly building up the strength levels with a degree of training at FatCat Moto Parc.

Josh certainly looked in decent nick at the weekend with a third place overall finish at the opening Moto Goo round at Polesworth. For 2010 Josh will again be fully supported by Redline, KTM UK, Factory Technical Suspension services Acerbis, Field Engineering, Putoline, Destroy Clothing, Danger UK, Scott, CZ Chains, DP clutch and brakes parts and with special thanks to Martin Craven at Fat Cat.

Josh will be looking to make a real mark when the new Maxxis series all kicks off at Little Silver on February 28.
