This August Bank Holiday weekend marks the 45th running of the famous Ken Hall Trophy at Manor Farm, Langrish, near Petersfield, Hampshire.

As is now customary Sunday's racing is for Twin-shock and Classic machines. The organising Langrish MCRC has also
included the final round of the Dave Thorpe Evo Championship round plus Open Twin-shocks and Classic Sidecars.

To the club's delight it is also hosting a round of the British Quad Championship. With John Mitchell having so far won each of the previous rounds this season, could he go on to win another or will one of this year's other championship contenders succeed this weekend? With opposition friom the likes of Mark Watson, David Wray, Carl Bunce and Paul there is still lots of wheel to wheel racing ahead as they all battle for the championship.

Then, Monday is the day when you can see top international solos and sidecars in action on the same circuit. Round four of the British Sidecar Championship runs along side the Partridge Ventilation 125cc series and the main Ken Hall Trophy solo
contenders.

Current sidecar championship leaders, Stuart Brown and Josh Chamberlain, have been recovering from injuries sustained early in the year but are now fit and ready to continue the defence of their title. Just 19-points adrift are Daniel and Joe Millard who have just completed a hectic three-week journey abroad contesting GPs in Latvia, Estonia and Russia.

The West-country brothers are fired-up for this weekend and are intent on keeping the pressure on the champions. Currently third are Jack Etheridge/ Ryan Humphrey just ten-points ahead of local favourite Scott Wilkinson.

Others to look out for are the Breacher brothers, Andy and Tim, Brett Wilkinson/ Kev Foyle, Richard Jenkins and his Swedish passenger Tim Gustavsson, Stickle Jarvis/ Dan Chamberlain and Paul Pelling/ Chris Pannel riding the only Jawa-powered machine.

In addition to the top British riders there are a number of top foreign riders including previous Ken Hall winners Rupeiks/ Stupelis, Jan Hendrickx/ Smeuninx, Bax/ Van den Bogaart and Soderqvist/ Saloniemi. The one and only bad Brad Anderson fresh from his great ride at the British GP at Matterley Basin, plus Elliott Banks-Browne, Mel Pocock, Alan Keet, Alfie Smith, Alex Snow, Liam Garland and Stuart Edmonds etc.

It's a great value for money weekend in the heart of the Southdowns National Park, with a beer tent, trade village and a friendly atmosphere. Don't miss it!

The venue is two-miles south of Petersfield on the A272 road.
