MARC Freixa, the former factory Scorpa and Repsol-Montesa rider, will be heading a new private team, the GRO Non Stop Bikes team, with full factory backing from Gas Gas. This marks something of a return for Freixa who was a full factory Gas Gas pilot from 1997 to 2000.

GRO is of course a leading lubricant while Non Stop Bikes is a dedicated trials dealership in Tona, Barcelona. Supporting a private team is a new venture for Gas Gas who of course continue to fully support Adam Raga. Freixa will in fact be provided with a full factory TXT300 Raga Racing machine with the new, lightweight chassis that tips the scales at a featherlight 69kg.
Said Raga, "I am very happy. This is a unique opportunity to prove that, with the best bike, I can still ride with the best. I don't feel any pressure because there is nothing to lose, but there's a lot to gain. I am physically strong and mentally this has given me spectacular new motivation. I also hope to be able to support Raga in his fight for the World title and contribute towards the manufacturers' title for Gas Gas.
Raga will compete in the World Championship plus the Spanish Indoor and Outdoor series.
