Maxxis' Hawkstone spectacular

This weekend round six of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship moves to the historic Hawkstone Park venue, in Shropshire.
With a nine-race programme the racing is set to be action-packed all day at one of the most popular tracks on the championship calendar.
Going to Hawkstone, Elliott Banks-Browne will be hoping to maintain his strong form on home soil and extend his points lead over Mel Pocock.
After recent double victories at both Latvia and Russia, Pocock will be coming to the event on a high and looking for victory.
Emberson RFX Yamaha rider, Steven Lenoir, will be aiming to hold off the advances of Neville Bradshaw on his EvoTech Stevens Honda in fourth.
Bryan MacKenzie will also be making his Maxxis debut for the all-new Pendrich KTM team, at the circuit where he took his first Maxxis podium finish last year.
In MX1, Kevin Strijbos will be heading to the event following of a number of strong Grand Prix results including overall podium finishes in Sweden and Latvia, where he claimed his first GP moto win in five years.
Team STR KTM's Matiss Karro is likely to miss the Hawkstone round as a result of a heavy crash in Sweden where he suffered a compression fracture of his T8 vertebra.
With Karro possibly missing from the event due to this injury, Shaun Simpson on the Monster Energy Bike It Yamaha will be looking to take the battle to Strijbos and narrow a 36-point deficit.
Route 77 MVR-D Honda's Gert Krestinov and the Tyco Suzuki pairing of Stephen Sword and Martin Barr are sure to also be battling for podium honours, along with local rider Ray Rowson.
Hawkstone Park also marks the second round of both the British Veteran Championship and the Youth MXY85 class.
In the Veteran class, Phil Mercer currently leads the series following the opening round at FatCat with reigning champion, Greg Hanson, currently second ahead of Gary Hoptrough.
The opening MXY85 round was held at Milton Park and after some fantastic racing Will Keogh claimed the overall win ahead of Todd Kellett and Jordan Eccles.
Tickets cost £20 for Adults and £5 for children under 14. Camping is £10 per pitch and will be open from Saturday, July 28.
Action kicks off at 8.45am on Sunday with the first MX2 race leaving the start line at 12.15pm.
