Nations team is out

The worst-kept secret in motocross was made official on Saturday evening at Matterley Basin when ACU team manager, Neil Prince, presented his team for next months Motocross des Nations at Lommel.
Tommy Searle will race MX1, Jake Nicholls MX2 and Max Anstie gets his first ‘cap' in the Open class aboard a 2011 factory Honda.
Shaun Simpson is the man who misses out, but the Scot will be first reserve for the two big bike classes.
"It was a very hard decision, and Shaun was amazing today, but Roger Harvey has confirmed Max will get a 2011 factory Honda for the race,” said Prince.
Simpson was naturally disappointed, in particular because "...there's been a lack of contact. I only learned 15-minutes ago that I was not in the team.”
However, the team has been picked and Tommy Searle was adamant: "I don't want to finish fourth again!”
