REGULATIONS are now available for the SMX Quad Magazine John Elliot Winter Series. Classes will again include Pro, Clubman, Stock and Ladies in this popular southern-based winter series.
This season will kick off with a non-championship warm up round at the SMX Northchapel circuit near Petworth in West Sussex on October 19.
The Winter Challenge is open to over 16's only and will consist of ten-rounds with a riders best nine to count in determining the final championship standings.
This year also sees the return of the end of season Over 35 Trophy, sponsored by Chris Murphy and Joe Harman of the NORA-MX Quad Club.
Tony Ford of Southern Motocross Club and the founder of ORPA has substantially reduced the membership fee for quad riders. SMX Quad membership will now be valid for the Winter Challenge period only. Annual membership of the SMX club will be at the normal price.
Newcomers to the quad racing scene are always welcome. Many first time racers have started their career with the SMX Winter Series and gone on to great success with other clubs.
As always, Allstar Motorsport Promotions will be offering a free cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit when you arrive to warm you up on those frosty mornings, so don't pack your gear away this winter, come and take on the Winter Challenge.
Forms are available from the download tab on the Quad Magazine website at www.quadtv.co.uk or telephone Blue Donohoe 07943-798742.
