Following on from the successful first running of an Amateur event at the British GP last year, it is set to return this year.

As part of the ‘Festival of MX' at Matterley Basin – the British MX GP – Youthstream is again planning to give amateur riders the chance to compete on the same track as the European and World Championship riders.

Youthstream has cleared space and time to give as many riders as possible this unique opportunity, but spaces will be limited and issued on a first come, first served basis.

Riders can arrive at the paddock entrance at Matterley from Tuesday, August 20, with Technical Control taking place on Wednesday, August 21.

Practice (20-minutes) and a Qualifying Race (15-min plus 2 laps) will take place on the Thursday (Aug 22).

The 40 best riders will then take part in a Warm-up (15 min) and a Superfinal (15-min + 2 laps) on Friday (August 23).

The exact race format will be finalised according to the number of participants entered.

The closing date for entries is July 19.
