It will be crunch time this weekend when the contenders in the ACU Luscombe Suzuki Leeds British Class A and B Youth Trials Championship contenders crash over the rugged sections at Bracken Rocks on Sunday.

The Holloway venue is one mass of hardware, and mistakes are punished severely.

Mansfield Maun closes the series with a course masterminded by Terry Crabtree and his sidekick Thomas McDowell.

The game plan is three laps of 12 sections with a five-hour time allowance, but the weather on the day may bring some changes to the schedule.

The two classes are near glowing at the sharp end. Dan Peace holds a three-point advantage over Jack Price in Youth A, but the latter has an advantage with a mere 11-point drop score on his card so it's win or nothing for Dan.

Billy Bolt trails Peace by ten points while James Stones is 21 down on the leader. James, Billy and Welsh champion Iwan Roberts maybe too far down to make an impact in the points but all three could rock the Peace/Price boat.

Also in the mix is Nikita Smith who  mixes with, and beats, the adult female contenders.

Miss Smith is also world-ranked and capable of giving the lads something to dwell on.

Tom Hooper is ten championship points up on Thomas Minta in the Youth B class, and he has three victories in his hands. Sam Yeoman and Toby Martyn will also not be travelling to
Derbyshire to view the scenery.

The rule for Bracken Rocks is no overnight camping. Catering and other essentials will be on site. The approach road down the hill from Holloway is closed so access is via the A6 at the Derwent Hotel via Whatstandwell village.

Jack Price and Thomas Minta lead the field off at 11.01am.
