Scorpa switch

JOHN Crinson , a National winner and regular competitor from the north east, switched to NBS Scorpa just before the Christmas break and won a Centre trial on his comeback ride since breaking a toe 10 weeks ago. The 25 year-old from Fulwell, Sunderland, will ride all Novogar Championship trials plus selected nationals that fit in with his work with a Newcastle-based market research company.
Said John, before riding at Dob Park, Yorkshire, last week, ''I may ride some British Championship trials in 2008. This is just my second ride on the Scorpa.''
Nigel Birkett will be supporting the north east star.
