STU Robinson and the North Berks guys and girls are working hard on their now annual North Berks Bonanza Super Trial which is now rapidly approaching taking place on Sunday, August 9. The event will take place as usual at Seymours Arena, West Hagbourne, near Didcot and Stu has been busy with the digger making some spectacular sections!
There is now a full line up of top British and World championship runners with French ace Loris Gubian ready to take on battling Brits James Dabill, Michael Brown, Alexz Wigg, Jack Challoner, Ross Danby, Sam Haslam, George Morton, Craig Robinson and James Fry. They will be given a close run by four up-and-coming success hungry125cc challengers who are World Youth Champion Jonathon Richardson, his British pals Jonny Walker and Ben Morphett plus riding Belgian star Maxime Warenghien.
There will be two laps of seven spectacular sections for qualifying with the top four finishers going through to the final which will be contested over a short and sharp single lap of eight sections which will be changed from the qualifying lap.
North Berks thank the following sponsors for making this event possible: John Shirt, Malcolm Rathmall, Jitsie, Andrews Building Company, Ace Trials Team, Steve Saunders Extreme Sports, Hagbourne Garage, TRC Trucks, Terrafirma 4x4 All Makes Ltd.
This event is deliberately spectator friendly as the organisers want YOU to go watch the aces in action over this compact course which makes for fantastic viewing. Entry for spectators is just 10, under 16s are 5 and camping will be available from Friday night. There'll be toilets, refreshments, trade stands and plenty of good parking. The venue will be signposted off the A417 Reading to Wantage road.
For a bit of fun on the Saturday night there's going to be a Minders Trial but on different sections of course!
