Taylor made win

MIKE Taylor had a clean lead in the first Quad race in the ninth round of the All Spares British Superquader Champ-ionship.
Taylor was followed by Gareth Thomas, leaving a long gap back to the Hodgson brothers who were flying after their Mettet experience. Joe hung on to third place despite being pressured by Sam throughout the final lap. Matt Lawry then held off Steve Butler for fifth.
Into race two and Mike Taylor once again dominated as he pulled out another clear lead, again with Gareth Thomas close behind. Sam Hodgson had been up at the front but machinery problems saw him picked off by most of the riders as he struggled to maintain his speed. Matt Lawry finished in third with Joe Hodgson in fourth as they both went for as many points as possible as they chased second and third places in the championship.
Gareth had most of the final race to him self, but eventually finished in second spot for the third time on the day as Mike took the final win in the last few laps of the race. Matt Lawry went unchallenged in third while Joe Hodgson held of a hungry pack to seal the fourth place finish
