The third round of the Southern Series OSET Cup will take place at Offham Quarry near Maidstone. The eight acre venue has been opened up to the No Limits Trials Academy for the first time. The trials club will put it to great use at their event for OSET riders on Saturday, May 26, which starts at midday.
There will be sections set out for all abilities across banks, rocks, tree trunks and roots. Even with the ‘somewhat damp' conditions of late the venue, which is made up predominantly of Kentish ragstone, remains dry.
Andy Hogg founder of No Limits Trials Academy, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer riders a brand new venue, which actually hasn't been in use since 1936. The terrain means we're not affected by all the rain and we're looking forward to all our riders having a great day. As usual we will have trophies, goody bags and a rider of the day award.”
Riders are able to practice for an hour prior to the event starting. And, for those families wanting to make a weekend of it, there is also the option to camp at the venue and practice on the Sunday.
Directions to the venue can be found at www.NoLimitsTrialsAcademy.co.uk
