THE 2008 BSMA Best of British Series, in conjunction with Pirelli, will get off to a flying start in less than eight weeks time with the opening round at Matchams Park and there are still places left in the classes for those wishing to take part, reports the BSMA committee. The classes range from Junior 65 to Open AMX, which will be a ground breaking first for the BSMA, and whilst it is no place for the Novice rider or faint hearted, the series is a fantastic chance for clubman riders to make the step up to National level.
Many of today's top riders started their journey to the top with BSMA and it is still at the forefront of the Youth sport in this country.
Not only does the series offer great competition it also offers some of the best tracks in the country with Matchams, Wakes Colne, Landrake, Tiverton, Farleigh Castle and Brookethorpe on the calendar for the championship. These are run by dedicated experienced teams committed to offering the very best racing experiences for the racers.
Due to administration problems with the BSMA website, there has been a collective decision to extend the closing date of entries for the championship until Wednesday, March 12, to ensure nobody misses out.
However, groups will fill-up fast so it is essential for those wishing to take part in this series to enter as soon as possible as the closing date will not be extended
again.
