ABERDEENSHIRE is the location for the fourth round of the Scottish MX2 and Youth Motocross Championshipships next weekend, June 7/ 8.

The superb Rynie track with a selection of tabletop jumps and twisty sections plays host and riders from all over Britain and Ireland will be competing in the event hosted by the Aberdeen & District Motocross Club.
The series that was the proving ground for stars such as Billy Mackenzie, Stephen Sword, Shaun Simpson and current British Small-wheel 85cc champion, Matthew Flemming, now has each round held over two days and the Youth classes have three races each on Saturday and two each on Sunday.
The Youth 250F class is currently lead by Gary Sharp who will be trying to fend off the likes of Mark Perfect and Steven Rennie while the Youth 125cc class is hotly contested by Ryan McLean and Aberdeenshire's Aidan Bruce.
In the Big-wheel 85cc class Matthew Fleming will be out to continue his fine run of form and extend his championship lead, and in the Small-wheel 85cc class English raider Sam Winterburn tops the tables being chased hard by Ryan Livingstone.
Junior 65cc rider Jay Lamb sits comfortably on top of the series standings, being hounded by the likes of local ace Daniel Dey.
The Adults will have three races on the Sunday. Locally based riders are filling three out of the top four places at the top of the championship table with Sean McDonald leading and Joe Garrick and Frazer Norrie in third and fourth.
All riders doing the whole series are reminded that the entry for the last round which scores double points is FREE, and all others are reminded that the entry for the two days costs only £42.
The racing starts at 11am each day and for more information on the meeting phone Shona Grant on 01651-806801.
