THE first KK MX joint Youth and Adult championship presentation and race day took place recently at Topcliffe Aerodrome, near Thirsk.With a relaxed atmosphere in the paddock, riders enjoyed the race day while waiting for the championship presentation. As usual, the Experts where first out and Ricky Cannings dominated the class with three wins followed by Warwick French, and another regular who is getting used to podium finishes, Rob Hield.
Knocking on the door of Expert status, Adult B class winner Jarrad Lambe showed there is a lot more to come next season.
The 24 Auto class riders showed some of the big boys how it was done, whipping' their machines over the jumps.
The Over 40 competitors proved there was life in the old dogs yet. Mick Raw stormed all three races. After a close battle and only two points separated John Kemp in second and Keith Murray in third.
After an excellent day's racing the Championship trophies where presented along with some special awards.
The Adult Rider of the Year' was awarded to Gemma Bulmer who has given the lads a run for their money all season. Youth Rider of the Year', Cameron Foreman, proved fast racers come from small packages.
The Endeavour Award' went to Matty Buckworth for his continued efforts this season. In the Small-wheel 85cc class, Gary Kiddy took home the Newcomer of the Year' award.
KK MX would like to thank all riders, their

supported the club over the season, including sponsors who contributed to raffle prizes gifts
for goody bags and trophies.
