The Herefordshire Twin-shock Club is again running its annual Twin-shock, Classic and Sidecar event the King of the Castle Motocross.
The event takes place at the world famous Farleigh Castle circuit, near Trowbridge, this weekend, July 7/8.
The event, which attracts more than 350 riders over the two days, is a top event in the vintage calendar.
Last year it played host to a round of the British Classic Scrambles Championship for Pre-72 class.
But this year the club is going one better and having both Pre-65 and Pre-72 machines.
Top riders such as European Championshipcontenders Wayne Partington and Keith Best will be putting on a top show along with 2011 Pre-65 British champion, Tim Manton.
For Twin-shock riders, there are all the normal age-related categories along with 125/250cc machines and the big and powerful CCM/ four-stoke bikes.
In the International/ Expert class, top national twin-shock riders Matt Stephenson and Gary Parker aboard their Marsh Freight-sponsored four-bangers will be battling it out with a full line-up of the best twin-shock riders.
As usual, the club will also be staging a ‘concours' event on the Friday evening for riders to show off their prize machines – all fully polished and pristine!
