A WEEK of intensive work by the Tough One team has seen the course grow into a fantastic spectacle, which will be witnessed by thousands on Saturday.

New sections have been added, but organiser Steve Ireland stresses that the course will be fast with no stoppers' although a big downhill section has been added from top to bottom of the quarry.

The log section is in place, as is a tyres section, which is always popular with the crowd, if not the riders, and the lorry section is set to go. The new Mick's Van' test will raise a smile or two and the finishing touches are now being applied all around the quarry.

On the rider front, the factory BMW team have huge support coming over to see the likes of Lettenbichler on the Beemer and KTM will be out in force alongside factory Beta and factory Sherco teams in addition to a host of overseas riders, all newbies to the Nantmawr Quarry venue, near Oswestry.

A large Pro paddock area will be open for the public to visit and check out the bikes and riders up close and personal.

Local hero Tom Sagar, riding at his home event, will have huge support from the locals, which will keep him fired up throughout the length of the race. Tom's knowledge of the Nantmawr conditions will certainly go a long way to help him improve on his second place to Taddy Blazusiak last year. He will be riding a new RMZ250 and is determined to get the Yellow Peril' on to the podium.
