Track n Trail plans its first sprint scramble

TRACK n Trail is planning to stage its first ever Sprint Scramble on December 6 at another new venue, knows as the Deverills, just off the A303 road, north of Shaftesbury.
The club will be running two one-hour sprint races per class, on a fast and flowing course of three to four miles in length.
With 400 acres to play with, made up of rolling fields and some woodland, although not a huge amount, this should be very entertaining for spectators and riders alike.
Riders and supporters will be able to see most of the course from one spot. They will also be able to keep one eye on the live timing screen, which will giving them rider names, their favourite rider's lap times, results lap by lap, placing, who they're chasing down, and whether they're reeling them in or if they are getting away! Remember the Track n Trail timing screen scrolls the results as the last rider crosses the line, in every race!
This will be a standalone event for members and non-members who fancy a real blast to finish off the year. Riders will be made very welcome from all disciplines.
Youth riders will get practice plus one race. There's bound to be enough room for an Auto track, so TnT is heading for a very entertaining family day out, with all the usual TnT trimmings including some special guest riders to shake things up.
Nearly all riders can push for an hour and with an hour's rest to recoup (and wind up your rivals!) it'll be time to line-up for another blast.
All motocross riders are required to enter in the Clubman, Expert, Over 40 Expert or Championship classes, allowing a much more chilled approach to the Trail, Sportsman, Over 40 Sportsman race.
There are three race groups – first up are the Trail, Sportsman, Over 40 Sportsman. Second race is for Clubman Expert, Over 40 Expert and Championship. Each of these have two legs, then it'll be time for the big youth race for 90 minutes plus a sighting lap.
Entries are available from the website – www.trackntrail.biz – or by phone on 01202-600675.
