Top Youth A Class MRS Sherco rider Luke Walker has announced that he is due to see two top specialists at Nottingham Queens Medical Centre on August 18.

Luke has been suffering from severe arm pump this year and its a credit to him that he has continued to ride, despite the obvious problems he is having whilst undertaking his sport. Luke is a very dedicated young rider who takes his sport seriously with three to four sessions at the gym every week and regular riding practice.

However, unfortunately there are no short cuts or answers to this problem other than an operation and after his appointment in August it will be decided when this will take place.

Winner of both the Youth B and C Class championships on his MRS Sherco, Luke is eager to get the operation done so he can ride without the present problems, but unfortunately this means he has to miss the last two world championship rounds.

In typical Luke style he would like to ride the two last European rounds as he still has a chance to get a good position in the Youth Class but it is still undecided whether this will be possible or not. All will depend on the outcome of the visit to the specialists.

Luke has been a great ambassador for Sherco and MRS and we all wish him a very speedy recovery from the operation so he can get back on his bike and ride to his full potential again.
