Watson and Eccles take a double Dutch victory!

HM Plant Red Bull KTM pilot, Ben Watson clinched the Dutch 85cc title this weekend when he went head to head with series leader Freek Van der Vlist and fellow Brit, Michael Eccles.
Going into the final round at Mill in Holland, Freek Van der Vlist led the championship with a nine point advantage over both Brits who shared joint second. But with 50 points up for grabs over the two race programme, everything was still to play for.
In moto one, Ben gated sixth and wasted no time in moving through the pack to take the moto victory with Eccles fourth and Vlist fifth.
In the deciding moto, Watson kept out of trouble and was content to chase home Davy Pootjes, secure in the knowledge that his most serious rival was two places further back and thus no
danger.
Eccles completed the UK delight as he clinched third on the day and headed out Pootjes by a point for the series
