WITH the opening round of the 2007 Colin Appleyard British Solo Trials Championship only just having taken place in Kinlochleven, Scotland, courtesy of the Lochaber club, the second round follows hot on its heels this weekend with the Neath Motor Club's St David's Trial in South Wales.
There's a dozen riders tackling the full Championship course headed by reigning champ and Kinlochleven winner, Graham Jarvis, who will be looking to keep the four-stroke Sherco on a winning streak. Shaun Morris (Gas Gas), Michael Brown (Beta) and Steve Colley (Gas Gas) finished in that order behind Graham in Scotland, and each will be looking to improve and not let Graham get too far ahead in the points chase.
James Dabill will still be absent from the list while Ben Hemingway (Beta) is also giving this one a miss but all the other first round contenders will be going for it including Alexz Wigg (Gas Gas), Sam Haslam (Scorpa) and Lee Sampson (Sherco), all teenagers who have just moved up to Championship - Wiggy having jumped straight from the Youth class and Sam as reigning Expert champ.
