SR75 World Team has confirmed its Pro rider line-up and team structure for 2020.
After another incredible year, the SR75 World Team go into 2020 with an exciting package aimed at progress and quality. After the success of numerous championships and titles supporting Charles Lefrancois as a global athlete, the team has announced the addition of young gun Nico Dercourt to the SR75 Family as a globally supported Athlete.
23-year-old Nico hails from the north of France and his multiple French and international successes see him get his shot in the team for 2020.
Both Charles and Nico are a great fit for the team as both are on the up in their career paths and are willing to put the work in to give 110 per cent for the team, says team owner Geoff Walker.
Talking of the Team. SR75 World Team Suzuki is happy to be able to step up to a new level in 2020 with their mainland Europe activities increasing in stature with long-time sponsor Jerome Hemery of HRS Suspension stepping up his commitment to the team to assist in co-managing and coordination of its mainland Europe racing and promotion activities.
Jerome brings years of experience, not just with his involvement with SR75 but from his long career in MXGP and Supercross at the highest level.
The teams initiative in support for amateur level riders will continue as well as Suzuki supported ride days to offer Suzuki riders the chance to be a part of all things SR75 and Suzuki.
SR75 World Team will have the fantastic crew at Suzuki GB, Suzuki Genuine Parts and Suzuki Moto France behind them once again as they carry on into another year with the Suzuki brand and are grateful to Ian Bland and everyone at Suzuki GB for the continued support.
I am very happy for 2020 and to continue racing with the team, said Lefrancois. We have had a fantastic year in 2019 and I cannot wait to get to AX UK and every race of 2020 with my new team-mate so we can go racing and make a great show for the fans. I enjoy working with the team and we have many exciting projects to look forward to with SR75 and every day we do not know what adventure await us.
I cannot be more happy with signing to SR75, said Dercourt. I want to work with everyone to make the best I can be. I respect this team and now I am a part of this structure I know I can make progress with my racing. I will give everything and race to make good results and I cannot wait to make my debut in Arenacross UK with the team and Charles as my team-mate. I thank Geoff and Jerome for their support to make this happen and I will see you all at the races.
Team Owner, Geoff Walker: We couldnt be happier with the direction we are taking in 2020, it is exciting times and we are so lucky to have some great team sponsors and personnel involved in SR75.
Bringing Nico on board simply fits with the SR75 style. Nico is a bit of an underdog and we have taken great pride in improving and taking every racer involved with the team to the highest level possible for them to reach. We enjoy this and we have had some great riders come through the ranks with the greatest respect and a smile on their faces.
To retain Charles was a must as this guy gives his all every week to improve which is all we ask. Adding Jerome into the fold is another positive and we cannot wait to get going in Arenacross UK and the rest of our schedule. We work and the results take care of themselves. Thanks as always to all involved in what we do.
