New show schedule revealed for 2026 Arenacross Tour
By Team TMX on 24th Jan 26
The 2026 Arenacross Tour has unveiled an all-new Night Show race format, and it all kicks off this Saturday (January 31) at the BP Pulse Live Arena inside Birmingham’s NEC complex.
For 2026, Arenacross is raising the intensity by putting AX Pro riders on track up to five times per night. The headline change is a new three-race Main Event format, with each race getting progressively longer as the evening unfolds. Add in a brand-new Hot Lap Qualification session and the return of the ever-popular Head-to-Head sprint races – now featuring every Pro rider on the roster – and the night show promises non-stop action from start to finish.
Doors to the AX Fan Zone open at 4pm, giving ticket holders the chance to meet the Pro riders along with the full Dirt Store Triumph Racing Motocross & Enduro team, including Tommy Searle, at no extra cost. From there, the main show fires into life at 6:30pm with rider introductions, as hosts Matt Crowhurst and Jeff Perrett welcome the stars into the spotlight amid Arenacross’ signature light and sound show.
The opening on-track action comes courtesy of the AX FMX squad, who will waste no time in pushing the limits with a full freestyle display that takes dirt bikes closer to the ceiling than the floor.
Just 20 minutes into the show, the racing begins in earnest with the new AX Pro Hot Lap Qualification. Riders will be unleashed one by one against the clock, riding flat-out for a crucial gate pick – often at a level of commitment rarely seen outside of a Main Event.
Straight from there, the Pros line up for the first Main Event of the night, a 12-lap points-paying race that gets the championship battle underway barely half an hour after the show starts.
Next up, it’s the turn of the next generation. The AX Mini and eMini classes take centre stage under the lights before the interval gives fans a chance to refuel ahead of the second FMX show at 8pm.
The second AX Pro Main Event follows, extended to 14 laps and again counting towards the Arenacross British Championship. Then comes the Pro-Am Main Event, a 10-lap battle where Amateur and Youth riders get their shot on the biggest stage of their careers.
At 8:30pm, the SuperMini riders step up for a seven-lap dash, setting the scene for one of the loudest parts of the night: the Head-to-Head races. Now fully integrated into the championship format, every Pro rider will take part, with points on the line and, for the first time ever, a three-rider Head-to-Head Main Event.
At 8:55pm, the FMX riders return for their third and final show of the night, unloading their biggest tricks as phones come out across the arena.
The evening builds to its climax at 9:10pm with the third and final AX Pro Main Event. Stretched to a punishing 16 laps and run with a reverse-grid start, it’s a true test of fitness, focus and survival, as the fastest riders are forced to fight their way forward from the back.
The night concludes with the podium and awards ceremony, giving fans a front-row view of what the results really mean to the riders. And if you want to see it, you’ll have to be there – the 2026 Arenacross Tour will not be live-streamed. The only way to experience it is live, in the arena, with the noise, the lights and the action right in front of you.
The all-new 2026 Arenacross Tour, presented by Dirt Store, is ready to fire. Get trackside and start the season the right way.
