Jack Edmondsons ISDE fundraiser Meet the Edmondsons at Ashby Moto Park had riders travelling from far and wide to train under the watchful eyes of Paul, Jack and Harry Edmondson and as an added bonus, Billy Bolt was there to coach the crazier stuff to those brave enough to take him up on his offer.

Keith Staines had kindly allowed the event to happen at Ashby, in support of Jack's campaign and he had prepared the track to perfection, leaving in a few tricky ruts and bumps for Fast Eddy to train his willing pupils on.

There were riders from Expert to Novice and they were split into two groups, the A team had Jack and Billy as instructors while the B team had Fast Eddy and Harry. All riders were treated to the experience and knowledge of two World Champions since Jacko was just crowned 2016 EWC Youth World Champ.

Jack and Billy concentrated on the tricky stuff while Fast Ed went back to basics with cornering, set ups and approach to build confidence in the less experienced riders while improving the techniques of the more experienced.

It turned out to be a hot day. Breakfast was eaten in almost foggy conditions but the sun came out to play and it was perfect for training and then practice to put newly learned techniques to the test.

With drinks breaks throughout the morning the training was non-stop and gradually an improvement in ability was visible in all riders, and increased confidence.

Fast Eddy's training techniques build confidence right from the start and the number of ‘How do I..' questions increased as the day progressed with riders wanting to tackle more and more challenges.

It was a cracking day on the bikes and has certainly helped contribute considerably to Jacko's ISDE fund. Paul Edmondson wishes to convey his thanks to everyone who attended and to Billy Bolt for his incredible feats with his bike and hopes you enjoyed the day as much as he, Jack and Harry did.
