Adventure awaits at the SR75 Suzuki Off-Road Experience Centre

Suzuki GB has unveiled an exciting new chapter for adventure riders with the launch of its dedicated off-road training centre near Merthyr Tydfil, Wales.
Developed in partnership with SR75 Suzuki, the renowned off-road racing team led by industry veteran Geoff Walker, the new SR75 Suzuki Off-Road Experience Centre is set to offer hands-on training for riders of all abilities. Participants will get the chance to hone their skills aboard a range of Suzuki machines, including the V-Strom 800DE, V-Strom 1050DE, and the all-new DR-Z4S.
Nestled beside the famous Monster Mountain motocross track, the centre boasts access to more than 300 acres of diverse terrain - from open, shale fire roads to technical single-track trails. Riders can expect expert tuition on everything from essential body positioning, throttle control, and braking to mastering tricky climbs and challenging terrain.
Unlike larger group courses, Suzuki’s new school will keep classes deliberately small, with a maximum of six riders per group and a three-to-one rider-to-instructor ratio. This ensures each participant benefits from personal guidance and a truly immersive learning experience.
Walker, who has more than three decades of off-road coaching and racing experience, will lead a handpicked team of expert instructors.

It’s an exciting time and we can’t wait to see riders of all levels of ability learning to ride with more confidence off-road on Suzuki products next year.”
“I have a long association with the Suzuki brand, formed initially in the world of motocross and supercross racing, but that’s grown over the years and we’ve since done a lot of work with the V-Strom range, including some rallies, and the launch of this school felt like a natural next step,” added Geoff Walker. “As well as working for and running my own race team over 30 years or more, my background is also in riding instruction; I don’t think there are many feelings as good as helping and seeing people learn and develop their riding skills. With the DR-Z4S through to the 800DE and 1050DE V-Stroms, there’s a bike for everyone’s level of ability, and I’m looking forward to getting started.”
A full day’s experience - including bike hire, fuel, refreshments, and instruction - starts from £300 per person.
