Are you ready for Skeggy?

As always, the event remains totally free for spectators and provides plenty of thrill- packed entertainment for the whole family from the safety of the recently refurbished promenade and pier.
The event attracts riders from far and wide and its reputation for being one of the toughest beach races in the UK has proved a strong draw for motocross and enduro riders with over 300 competitors expected to descend on Skegness.
The weekend kicks off on Saturday at 10.30am with a 90-minute Clubman solo race followed by a two-hour combined Quads and Sidecars battle. Then on Sunday at 11.30am its the epic three-hour gruelling main solo race with over 200 riders racing for the 1,000 winners cheque.

After Frenchman Miko Potisek won the inaugural event other names to have been added to the Skegness roll of honour are Nathan Parker, Dan Thornhill, James Hutchinson and triple victor Nathan Watson.
As usual, the AMCA have worked in conjunction with the Magna Vitae Trust for Leisure and Culture, East Lindsey District Council and East Lindsey Event Safety Advisory Group to ensure that the entire weekend is held in a manner that both compliments the town and also benefits the local economy.
The East Lindsey District Council have provided unwavering commitment to the event right from day one so its thanks to them, the towns people, local businesses and all the event sponsors for their ongoing backing which ensures the continuing success of this exciting event.
