Alex Snow has made the tough call to withdraw from this weekends home EnduroGP at Hawkstone Park after suffering from tendonitis in with right wrist, an injury that seems to have spread through the Enduro paddock this year for several riders.
After finding the last three weeks very difficultn trying to training without flaring up the injury, Snow and the Buildbase Honda Racing team decided it was the right decision to make after seeing the doctor on Monday of this week to diagnose the problem.
"This was such a hard decision to make as I've been looking forward to this race for so long. The wrist has been getting progressively worse over the past few weeks and with out any considerable time off the bike it's just not improving.
With the GNCC style event lasting three hours around Hawkstone, it is going to be a big ask with how it currently feels. I'm not willing to race unless I can put 100 per cent into it and give my self the best chance at a decent result."
With the team and Alex's priority being the Weston Beach race in October, Snow will now use this time to rest the injury and aim to be fully recovered by then.
