Tough One tune-up
By Team TMX on 7th Nov 18
The UKs most loved Extreme Enduro event WOR Events The Tough One is getting a shake-up for 2019 which should make it even more exciting to watch than ever before.
Returning to its spiritual home of Nantmawr Quarry, near Oswestry on Sunday, January 27, the new format will see riders tackle the event against the clock in a Sprint-style format which will amass times taken over eight laps to find the overall winners of each class.
Its hoped that by removing the survival aspect of the race, riders will attack each lap flat-out which will make it one hell of a spectacle for spectators.
Now called the Michelin Tough One Extreme Enduro TT, the event will utilise asimilar lap to the normal T1 albeit a little more condensed. Riders will set off around the demanding quarry course every 30seconds or so and with an entry list that already includes T1 legends David Knight and Graham Jarvis its bound to be a banger!
And as well as the Pro classes the event will also cater for Sportsman/Novice, Clubman and Vets in a morning session plus therell be an all-new kids only Mini Tough One happening at some point or other.
Keep an eye on the events official website www.worevents.com for more updates and entry info
