Gas Gas has just unveiled its all new two-stroke enduro bike.

Launched at the EICMA show in Milan, the Spanish brand has a pair of new 300 and 250 two- strokes.

Branded ‘The Phoenix Project', Gas Gas has totally reinvented its EC enduro model with a new central backbone frame, revised geometry, new engine and an endless list of new components. 

The new frame and geometry sees the bike weigh in considerably lighter than its predecessor at 105kg.  

The Gas Gas EC/XC also sports a new, powerful engine manufactured in two capacities (250/300cc) with high performance offering even more features and flexibility than its two-stroke predecessors.

The aluminium subframe with new profiles is lighter and more resistant. A 48mm KYB front fork with Air/Oil Separation system and KYB rear monoshock take care of suspension. The fully redesigned aluminium alloy swingarm is optimised and lightened.

Other new features include optimised link with wishbone and rocker system, new progressive rear suspension, Excel rims with silver galvanized spokes, NG brake discs, larger airs filter with rapid filter removal system through the side cover, lighter footpegs with more grip and greater surface area, Magura clutch cylinder and LED headlight 

The new engine features a new crankshaft, cylinder, cylinder head, FMF Powercore 2.1 exhaust silencer, radiators and an improved clutch lubrication system.

The bikes will be in EC 250/300 trim for Europe and XC 250/300 trim for the USA.
