Gas Gas UK's Alex Snow takes ISDE slot
By Team TMX on 28th Oct 19
Gas Gas UK Enduro Team rider Alex Snow is now riding the International Six Days Enduro in Portugal representing Team GB in the Trophy Team.
With the news that Steve Holcombe has withdrawn from the Team due to injury, Alex has been asked to fill his place.
Indeed a difficult decision for an unfit Holcombe but as a professional athlete, the correct decision has been made by both Steve and Trophy Team Manager Daryl Bolter. The ISDE is a 'Team' event and any team must have all riders 100 per cent fit and well.
Alex has big boots to fill but on current form, he had a superb WESS Round at Hawkstone Park and a great weekend at the final British Championship at the Natterjack - Gas Gas UK team boss John Shirt feels he will fit in comfortably and be a valuable member of the team.
"His professionalism will be the backbone of a young team and will help Brad Freeman, Danny McCanney and Joe Wooten win the ISDE for Team GB", said John.
