2017 ISDE: Welsh Wonders

Team Wales had an excellent week, finishing second overall in the Club Team competition at this years ISDE in France against a very good Italian team.
The event proved to be very hot with long challenging days and team manager Neville King was delighted with the team's performance.
Highlight for the team was Jamie Lewis taking the overall win in the C2 class with a very strong performance.
The other two team members Tom Sagar and Jason Thomas finished a very respectable fifth and eighth overall in the C2 class too.
All three riders gaining gold medals for their efforts.
Rhayader MC also entered a team into this year's ISDE for the firstst time since 1983!
Both Marc Evans and Adam James both put in strong performances bringing home gold medals.
Adam Rees riding his first ISDE had a tough few early days resulting in breaking three bones in his foot but battled on regardless to finish the event.
The team would like to thank sponsors, support crew that helped before and during the event.
