Manxman Danny McCanney has pulled together a deal with Apico Factory Racing and Beta UK to compete in the British Enduro Championship and other key events on the UK off-road calendar.

The 32-year-old two-time world champion announced his retirement from professional racing at the end of the 2022 EnduroGP season but has decided to race for fun in 2023 and still has to be considered a threat to win the BEC title that kicks off in Scotland on April 8/9.

“I’m looking forward to a season without the pressure of the world stage and to having fun whilst performing my best to get results for my sponsors and supporters,” said Danny. “I’d like to thank Dylan at Apico and John at Beta UK for their belief and the support that they have been able to offer. I’m looking forward to putting in strong performances at the races and going for another British Enduro title.”
