Motofit Racing’s Jed Etchells has delivered Sherco its first-ever EnduroGB Championship title, while Nieve Holmes completed a clean sweep of the Elite categories by claiming her second Women’s British crown.

Etchells secured the overall title aboard the Motofit Racing Sherco 300 SE 2T, capping a remarkable 2026 campaign with seven consecutive race-day victories. The championship is Sherco’s first overall EnduroGB title and marks a significant milestone for the French manufacturer in British enduro.

For Etchells, who joined the Motofit Racing team for the 2026 season, the title was his second British championship and came through a combination of outright pace and consistency.

The now two-time champ, Jed Etchells, said “It feels incredible to win the EnduroGB Championship again. To do it with a brand-new team at Motofit and give Sherco their first-ever championship title makes it even more special. A huge thank you to Motofit Racing, Sherco and everyone who has supported me throughout the season. We’ve worked so hard for this, so to finally take the title is an amazing feeling.”

Holmes then completed Sherco’s Elite double by taking the Women’s EnduroGB Championship aboard the ET James Sherco Team’s 250 SEF 4T.

After finishing second on the opening day of the season, Holmes went on a remarkable run, winning the following 11 days of competition to take back-to-back British titles.

Nieve said “It feels amazing to win my second British title. The ET James Sherco team has worked so hard all year and the bike has been incredible. To win the championship and help give Sherco both Elite titles is something I’m really proud of. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me this season.”

There was more Sherco success at the final round, with Charlie Chater taking his first EnduroGB podium of the season aboard the 250 SE 2T.

Chater had shown strong pace throughout the campaign and finally converted that form into a podium finish, rewarding the effort of both rider and team.

Kit Szabo also ended the season on a high, taking his first EnduroGB victory in the Expert class aboard a Sherco 300 SEF 4T. Szabo has contested both British and EnduroGP competition during the season, making the breakthrough win a fitting reward for his efforts.

Sherco UK manager James Fry said: “This is a huge moment for Sherco UK. To win our first-ever EnduroGB Championship with Jed and Motofit is an incredible achievement and one we can all be extremely proud of. It’s also fantastic to see so many of our models delivering wins and podiums across all classes throughout the season, highlighting the competitiveness and performance of the Sherco Enduro range. Huge congratulations to Jed, Motofit Racing, Nieve and ET James Racing, on their titles and to every Sherco rider and team who has raced hard and represented the brand so well this season. What a year!”
