McCanney, Rauchenecker, Garcia & Strang lead Rockstar Energy Husqvarna in Spain

Husqvarna Motorcycles enters the 91st ISDE with an impressive array of 21 World Trophy riders set to represent their respective nations at the prestigious annual event being held in Navarra, Spain.

Among them Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing riders Danny McCanney, Pascal Rauchenecker, Josep Garcia and Josh Strang will race for Great Britain, Austria, Spain and Australia respectively.

Counting down the days to the start of this year's event on Tuesday, October 11, Danny McCanney will make his international racing debut aboard Husqvarna's TE 300 2-stroke machine as a member of Great Britain's World Trophy Team.

Wrapping up the Enduro World Championship season with a total of six podium results and a strong third place finish in the Enduro 1 class, the Manxman has the experience to be among the frontrunners next week in Spain as he switches to Enduro 3 class machinery.

Fresh from his participation at this year's Motocross of Nations in Maggiora,Pascal Rauchenecker is ready to represent Team Austria for the first time at the ISDE. Performing strongly in the 2016 Enduro World Championship, Pascal will look to wrap up his debut enduro season on a high note in Spain.

Claiming Enduro Junior class victory on the very last day of the Championship, Josep Garcia is looking forward to representing Spain's Junior World Trophy Team on home soil during this year's ISDE.

A member of the USA's World Trophy Team, Thad Duvall is another Husqvarna rider who has the depth of experience needed to be among the frontrunners at this year's ISDE.

Husqvarna riders also make up for 50% of Australia's World Trophy Team, with Josh Strang and Lachlan Stanford eager to defend the World Trophy Team title Australia won last year in Spain.

Danny McCanney: "I'm looking forward to a fun week of racing in Spain. It's always a great honour to represent your country at the ISDE. For me it's going to be a little extra special, as I'll be racing Husqvarna's TE 300.

I've spent the last couple of weeks training on the 2-stroke bike and I'm really looking forward to racing it in Spain. Along with helping Great Britain get a good overall result, I think a top three or even a win in the Enduro 3 class is well within my reach.”

Pascal Rauchenecker: "I'm really excited for the ISDE. It'll be the best way for me to wrap up my first full season in enduro racing. It's going to be my first six-day event but I'm more than ready to battle for my country.

Josep Garcia: "I'm feeling very good on the bike at the moment so I can't wait for the ISDE to begin. Taking place in Spain makes it a little more important for our team and for me. I might not be the most experienced ISDE rider but I'm up for the challenge.
